Investigators said William J. Obernesser, 67, of Rome, was crossing the roadway northbound at about 11:23 a.m. July 11 when he was struck by a Ford Super Duty pickup truck, driven by Aaron J. Shahin, 25, of Farmington. The crash took place near the Econolodge Hotel at 4232 Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hopewell.
Police said Samantha L. Seelman, of Boonville, inked a 17-year-old girl at her home without permission from the girl's parents. Police said Seelman does not have a tattooing license. The girl's parent contacted the authorities on July 5.
