Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, who became an internet sensation while accompanying President Droupadi Murmu, has taken premature retirement from the Army. He served as AidedeCamp to the President. He met President Murmu a few days ago and said, 'The blessings and teachings of the Honourable President have helped me grow as an individual in life.'

The eboarding pass rule that will make international travel more seamless for Indians has come into effect, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said on Tuesday. The mandatory stamping of boarding passes has been done away with, and people just need to show their eboarding pass on phones. This will save paper used for 1.2 lakh international boarding passes daily.

The family said they kept calling Sweetie after the floods hit, but she couldn't hear them. Sweetie then ran to the rooftop and stayed there while the water level around her rose.

A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit parts of Nepal on Tuesday evening, two weeks after flash floods killed over 1,300 people. On August 27, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake had hit Nepal. Over 5,000 are believed to be missing after the Nepal floods, with rescuers focusing on three hydropower project tunnels where dozens of workers could be trapped.
