Paris, Tenn.–Commercial Bank & Trust are in the process of completing a full remodel of our Mineral Wells Branch in Paris, Tenn. and everyone has seen all the work taking place. Bank President Clint Davis said, “This does include both the interior and exterior and will include a new marquee sign which should be installed this week.” The branch was opened in 1974 and then remodeled in the mid 90's, he said. “We are anticipate completing the project by the end of June and looking forward to having our customers back in branch. Huntingdon, Tenn.–Henry County Native Anna Wheet has been promoted to Assistant Fire Chief for the Carroll County Fire Department. In its announcement today, the Fire Department said, “Anna has been a tremendous asset to our department through her hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the firefighters and citizens of Carroll County. This promotion reflects the important role she plays in the daily operations and continued growth of our department.

Paris, Tenn.–It was standing room only at Monday evening's meeting of the Henry County Commission, with numerous citizens speaking during the public forum section.

Murray, Ky. and Paris, Tenn.- Steven Price of Murray was arrested Monday on a Calloway County arrest warrant issued stemming from at incident that occurred in April that involved thefts in both Calloway and Henry Counties.

Dyersburg, Tennessee – Dr. Shawna Adams, Associate Professor of Biology at Dyersburg State Community College, is one of six West Tennessee recipients of the EmpowerEd Educator Award presented by the Leaders Education Foundation. Dr. Adams was recognized for her leadership and extraordinary contributions to education in West Tennessee.
