Sophie A. H. Osborn is an award-winning environmental author, conservationist, and wildlife biologist whose work has focused on the study and protection of bird species across the United States, Central America, and South America. She contributed to the reintroduction of several endangered birds and served as field manager for the California Condor Reintroduction Program in Arizona. Her books include Condors in Canyon Country, which won the 2007 National Outdoor Book Award for Nature and the Environment, and Feather Trails: A Journey of Discovery Among Endangered Birds, published in 2024. Her writing has appeared in BirdWatching, Birding, Wyoming Wildlife, and Sojourns magazines.

Gabriela Ramirez-Perez joined OK Policy as an Immigration Policy Analyst in August 2021. Raised in Oklahoma City, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with minors in German, Arabic, and International Security Studies.

Chloe Bruce is a nonprofit communications specialist and project manager who has worked and volunteered with humanitarian organizations in the UK, Australia, Colombia, China, and Canada. She studied English and history at the University of Edinburgh before earning a master’s degree in leadership and international development from King’s College London. She also holds an advanced diploma in humanitarian education from the University of Teacher Education Zug. She is a contributor to the Observatory.
