The Muscogee (Creek) National Council Land, Natural Resources, and Cultural Preservation Committee held a meeting on Aug. 11, for maintaining public safety, executing real estate contracts, public transit funds, budget modification, and appropriate funds for Ceremonial Grounds and Churches.
This marks the third year MCN CVS has hosted the Youth Summit. Throughout the sessions, youth explored important topics including financial literacy, consent and healthy relationships, healthy practices, women’s and men’s empowerment, Mvskoke language, and suicide awareness. MCN CVS is proud to provide young people with valuable tools, helpful tips, and knowledge they can carry with them throughout their lives.
MCN Youth Wellness hosted a Rez Tour Pool Party at two locations, giving youth a chance to enjoy a fun, free day at the pool! Youth received free pool admission, pizza, live DJ music, and access to resource booths. The event gave MCN Youth Wellness an opportunity to connect with youth, share information about their programs and services, and promote wellness—all while having a great time!

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 28 to celebrate the opening of the new MCN Services Building.The new facility will house multiple Muscogee (Creek) Nation departments, bringing services and employees together under one roof. Citizens, MCN employees, former MCN Chiefs and MCN National Council representatives attended the ceremony to mark the opening and celebrate the Nation’s continued growth.The building’s design incorporates elements of Mvskoke history, language and culture, reflecting the Nation’s heritage while creating a space designed to serve its citizens for years to come.
