Suzlon Group is set to launch an impressive 1,325 MW of wind energy projects in Andhra Pradesh, backed by a ₹10,000 crore investment. This venture promises to create about 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. With a vision to integrate an additional 5 GW of renewable energy projects by 2030, Suzlon is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy, having already invested ₹12,000 crore in the region since 2004.

Key buyers from firms such as Nvidia and Qualcomm are capitalizing on the AI boom to make these substantial investments. This phenomenon reflects a rising need for luxury accommodations in the vibrant city as high-value units fly off the market.

Nineteen of Medicover's 25 hospitals are already profitable, while the remaining facilities are in various stages of ramp-up, P Hari Krishna, executive director, Medicover Hospitals India, told ET. He said newer hospitals typically take 12-18 months to fully break even.

The 8.5-acre campus will be funded through a grant from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Classes are expected to begin from September 2026 at a temporary facility at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur, before shifting to the permanent Amaravati campus. Courses will cover quantum computing and communication, AI and machine learning, semiconductor fabrication, chip design, VLSI, embedded systems and high-performance computing.

AIG Hospitals will invest two thousand crore rupees over five years. A thousand-bed greenfield multispeciality hospital will be built in Visakhapatnam. The first phase with six hundred fifty beds should open by October 2028. This facility will offer over fifty medical and surgical specialities. The project also includes a nursing college and research laboratory.

The Sanmar Group has acquired a majority stake in AltEons Energy. This investment will help AltEons develop its initial 210 MW hybrid project. The company plans to add another 800 MW to its pipeline this year. Maharashtra remains a key market, with other states also being evaluated. AltEons focuses on wind, solar, and battery storage for consistent power.

“We’re using their existing store infrastructure, which exists across multiple towns, and using those almost like pseudo-fulfilment centres,” Nishant Sardana, director, Amazon Now, told ET. “We’re going to use the existing infrastructure of their physical stores to make deliveries online as well.”

HyperVault, a TCS subsidiary, will develop a large AI data centre campus in Hyderabad. This facility will have a 1 Gigawatt capacity and significant investment. The project aims to support frontier AI companies and hyperscalers globally. It will create thousands of jobs and utilize green energy principles. Telangana's Chief Minister called the project historic for the state.
