The MCX December gold futures were trading down by Rs 91 or 0.16% from the Wednesday closing price at Rs 58,192 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 70,671 per kg, higher by Rs 122 or 0.17%.

Commenting on the rally, analyst Jigar S Patel said that today's gains have taken the stock to its all-time high of Rs 1,911 and the counter looks lucrative due to its recent upward move. However, he advised investors to remain cautious since the weekly MACD looked exhausted.

The market watchdog has also relaxed the rules with regard to adding a nomination for the trading accounts by making it a voluntary requirement. Earlier, the regulator said all trading accounts and dematerialised accounts, which do not have ‘choice of nomination by September 30, will be frozen.

On Wednesday, Aurobindo Pharma's wholly owned subsidiary Auro Vaccines Private Limited informed about entering into a License Agreement with Hilleman Laboratories Singapore Pte. to develop, manufacture and commercialise a pentavalent vaccine candidate used in children vaccination.
