Australia has deported at least 15 people of Indian origin, including 11 from Punjab. The Department of Home Affairs told SBS Punjabi that this was part of "planned charter removals" aimed at removing "unlawful non-citizens from Australia". The Indian government has confirmed it has accepted their return.
