The local coffee chain plans to open its sixth location next month.

When it comes to sporting events, food is important. So important that food specials seem to be one way local sporting events are trying to attract more spectators.

Kendra Lawler and her wife, Claudia, and their two teenagers spent the entire first week of July bringing their food truck, The Neon Crave, to as many events as possible.

“This was just this week's fire, and we're past it, and now we have to look forward to next week's fire,” said one restaurant owner.

Bar Limina hosts oyster happy hour every Friday from 4 p.m. until the restaurant sells out.

Hive Bagel & Deli's East Memphis location is set to open Aug. 30, and a cocktail bar prepares to open in the former Longshot space Downtown.

“Musical theater is my avocation. Dentistry was just my vocation,” said the piano bar and cabaret’s owner.
