Local law enforcement officers were honored fro their outstanding work in the community, as the Richmond Police Department held their annual awards banquet.

This year’s Kites Away is being put on by Berea Parks and Recreation and will happen on May 11. The event that dates back to 2014 when Susan Garza, a Chicago, Illinois, native dreamed of a kite flying community event. It’s happened at every opportunity since then.
