Over the past 12 years, Government Relations at Augusta University has recruited more than 20 outstanding students to participate in internships at the U.S. Capitol.

“We all want the same thing in health care: accessibility, affordability and quality. Telehealth gives us the opportunity to have all three," said U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter.

Zach Powell, DMD, will be the keynote speaker at AU’s Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

House Speaker Rep. Jon Burns will deliver the keynote address at Augusta University’s Undergraduate Commencement on Dec. 11.

“Do not allow anyone to talk you out of being a teacher. The blessings that you get are far greater than the challenges that you'll face," says Judi Wilson, EdD.

For the past three months, four Augusta University interns have diligently worked in the State Capitol, shining brighter than the Gold Dome.

INNOVATE winners Ray Wade and Ibrahim Mohammad will compete in the University System of Georgia's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition in April.

Brig. Gen. Jacob Middleton is the keynote speaker at Augusta University's Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies on May 8.

Christine Crawford, ScD, is the keynote speaker at AU's Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony on May 7.
