Machine learning is primarily concerned with accuracy and pattern recognition, while natural language processing (NLP) is concerned with computer-human language interactions, specifically how to program computers to process, and analyze large amounts of natural language data. At Data Summit 2024, Christy Bergman, developer advocate, Zilliz, presented how to use an open source vector database to power GenAI chatbots, ecommerce recommenders, and similarity search-based apps during her workshop, 'Taking Advantage of Machine Learning & Natural Language Processing.'
