In the heart of Tech Central in Sydney, Australia, Genetec is establishing its Experience Center—created to deliver an unparalleled experience for both clients and employees. FOR. design planning has led the design, continuing the vision established across more than twenty other spaces created for this high-security Montréal-based company.

The project introduces a workplace strategy centred on flexibility and collaboration. The layout combines fixed desks, mobile workstations, and open-plan areas that encourage interaction, teamwork, and productivity. By offering a variety of work settings, the design supports evolving ways of working and creates a dynamic and efficient environment for employees.

The project was commissioned by The Unusual Space as a shared office environment designed to accommodate multiple international companies within a single spatial framework. The primary objective was to create a flexible workplace capable of supporting diverse organizational structures, working styles, and patterns of occupancy while allowing the space to adapt to changing needs over time.

Integrated into AstraZeneca's strategy of bringing its entire team together in a single location, a new benchmark hub has emerged in Lisbon: a space spanning six floors of the Báltico Building, in Parque das Nações, with capacity for around 750 people.

A 24,000 sq. ft. headquarters designed to hold analytical rigour and human warmth in the same room, without asking either to compromise.

EP Wealth sought an office environment that reflected leadership's vision for an open, coastal inspired workspace while thoughtfully considering the existing building layout. Multiple test fits and location options were explored to optimize flow, unify teams, and elevate the client hosting experience. The team ultimately selected a layout that preserved useful perimeter construction while enhancing openness, views, and reception functionality. The design emphasized intuitive circulation, acoustical privacy, and hospitality driven features. Creative solutions around lighting, materials, and budget challenges delivered a polished, welcoming workplace the client loved—beautifully aligned with EP Wealth's brand and employee experience.

The client envisioned a contemporary lace showroom aligned with their manufacturing and export business, reflecting the brand's refined identity while enhancing product visibility and providing a seamless buyer experience. The brief emphasized a clean and organized spatial layout with clear circulation to ensure effortless movement for clients and staff. Display clarity, flexible merchandising, and integrated storage were essential to accommodate modern operational requirements. Functional spaces such as a Director Office, accountant and staff office, conference room, waiting lounge, product photography area, stock display, Stock dispatch area and utilities were planned to align efficiently for smooth day-to-day functioning. The interior was intended to remain subtle and minimal so that the intricate textures and detailing of lace remain the primary visual focus.

Bean Buro has completed a bespoke workplace design for Palatino Hospitality, an esteemed luxury products brand. The brief called for an environment that reflects Palatino's high-end market presence while offering a sanctuary for creativity and well-being for its employees—merging hospitality and retail qualities into a seamless, inviting workspace that inspires both staff and visitors.

Since 1975, Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, has served as the heart of BMW's U.S. operations. For the company's most recent renovation, BMW enlisted architecture and design firm FCA to lead a complete campus transformation, creating a dynamic showcase for the company's four distinct automotive brands. The project consolidated four disparate buildings into a cohesive three-building campus, while reorienting the site itself and realigning interiors to centralize activation, foster community, and support the brand's evolving approach to workplace strategy. This initiative marks the first collaboration between the two brands, with FCA's holistic oversight including workplace strategy, programming and interior architecture.

Studio McW has completed the renovation of its new East London workspace, translating a decade of experience into a human-centred office environment. Their new HQ demonstrates how domestic character can elevate workplace design, creating an environment that adds value for the team and their clients.
