The United State’s 250th anniversary celebrations began with Donald Trump proclaiming he had restored the country to greatness.

First, yes, I am old, but not quite doddering. And let's be honest, if you want to avoid old people you shouldn't shop at McQuade's. Who else can afford to? (Eight dollars for six deviled eggs?) Second, I had to park my car a little to the right because the car on my left, driven by a woman younger than I am, was parked up against my space. One makes allowances for youth. I also parked more to the right because that space was empty. Third, my assailant's fondness for expletives suggests that he (I assume it was a male) is a supporter of the current occupant of the White House. Thus, I blame Donald Trump for this deplorable act of elder abuse.
