VERO BEACH — A Los Angeles man was sentenced to life in federal prison Thursday for selling the fentanyl that killed Vero Beach resident David Eller in 2023. The sale was caught on a doorbell camera, and Eller was found dead in his home just hours later.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 48-year-old Vero Beach man riding an e-bike was killed in a hit-and-run crash with a pickup truck late Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
