BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies for our Thursday. A couple of disturbances approaching the area will bring us the chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. A few showers will be possible through early-mid morning mainly towards the coast and south of Bangor otherwise expect a better chance for scattered showers across the state from late morning through the evening hours. The main threat with the showers and thunderstorms will be the potential for heavy downpours however there is a slight chance we could see a few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds and small hail. With more clouds across the state... temperatures will be a bit cooler today with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s. Shower and thunderstorm activity will wind down this evening and early tonight as the disturbance exits the area. Skies will clear out as the night progresses. Temperatures will fall back to the 50s for overnight lows.
