Former firefighter Bob Brooks piled up more than twice as votes as his closest contenders to win the Democratic nomination for the 7th Congressional District seat. Brooks will face incumbent Republican Rep. Ryan Mackenzie.

Authorities continue to search for Jack Pletz, 24. His father, Matthew Pletz, is in Lehigh County Prison. Seventeen explosive devices were found inside their pickup truck.
