A stubborn area of energy is slowly moving across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin bringing mostly cloudy skies to start the day.

Here we go for the weekend! Upper 80s are likely with some areas touching 90 but it will feel like the 90s for everyone when you factor in the humidity.

We're going to see another hot and humid day with storms possible, some of them strong to severe.

Expect a beautiful rest of the week now that we've gotten through those rounds of storms and humidity.

The coolest day with the lowest humidity is here! It will be a beautiful day with highs in the mid to upper 70s and dew points in the low 50s.
