A Flood Watch is in effect through Friday night for Banks, Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Dawson, Fannin, Floyd, Forsyth, Gilmer, Gordon, Hall, Lumpkin, Murray, Pickens, Polk, Towns, Union, Walker, White, Whitfield.

A cluster of thunderstorms has developed over Illinois/Indiana and will push south quickly overnight. This line of storms is likely to arrive across North and possibly Central Georgia during the pre-dawn and morning commute on Monday. These storm clusters are notoriously hard to predict, but short-range modeling shows it surviving into our region.
