Police arrested a suspect and located a weapons cache in the village of Manda, including Kalashnikov rifles, M-16s, handguns and an 'operational' vehicle. The suspect fled on foot upon the arrival of forces and was arrested after a chase. According to assessments, the suspect planned to carry out an assassination. During a search of the compound, forces uncovered an arms cache containing long M16 rifles, 2 short M16 rifles, a Kalashnikov assault rifle and two Glock 19 handguns. Alongside the weapons, forces also seized ammunition, more than 1,000 bullets, 15 full magazines, gloves, helmets and five recording devices.
