It is interesting to see how fast life seems to be moving when we realize that we are already saying welcome to the year 2026. Time truly flies! The year 2026 promises to be very eventful. As we watch what is happening in the United States and around the world, it is apparent that we are on the precipice of significant change. All types of opportunities promise to become evident, including new information about old problems like the Epstein file saga or the affordable healthcare issue.

Lately, there have been a number of issues that have created havoc among people in America — there is a growing tendency to spread more and more lies. It is very difficult to identify when truth is being spoken. Many of the lies and misinformation sent through the internet target a number of things, including technology, politics, health, and more. AI generates fake information so frequently that a person must really think hard before sending information or responding to that which has already been distributed.

Today most observant people are aware that nature’s language includes the doctrine of opposites. Everything has its opposing concept. This is one of the reasons for the continuing skirmishes between the world’s people and the proliferation of wars.

Mother’s Day 2026 will be celebrated on Sunday, May 10. It will also be observed in Canada on that day. Mother’s Day is set aside to show appreciation for mothers or mother figures. Technically, it is not a public holiday. In Canada, most businesses observe traditional Sunday hours.

President Trump, the current occupant of the White House, has a problem. He insults people. A lot. And it is surprising considering the high position he holds. Trump’s antics while occupying the Oval Office are often viewed as ridiculous.

The United States recently honored the anniversary of the United States’ holiday known as Memorial Day. If you think about it, holidays offer us the opportunity to keep track of history. Memorial Day has as its purpose reminding people to honor, or at least, recognize the contributions that our soldiers have made toward the safety and security of American citizens.

Recently, Ricky Smiley, a nationally syndicated American comedian, actor, television host, radio personality, and actor, has dumped on Oprah Winfrey because of a comment that she made about the late, great singer, Whitney Houston. Basically, he called her out on what he believes is an example of Oprah’s disloyalty and “being out of touch with the Black community.“

Unbelievably, it has happened again, this time on the anniversary of the United States; July 4th/Independence Day! Nolan Wells, an 18-year-old Black student- athlete, was found dead after a boat trip to a Mississippi island. He had been traveling with a group of friends, all white, who returned without him. Interestingly, his friends had some of Well’s belongings, including his cell phone and keys. Alarm bells have gone off among those who were concerned; his “friends,” in addition to returning his phone, also erased their social media posts. According to reports the cell phone had been tampered with; there were no photos of the trip, which has caused extreme suspicions among observers.

For many years there has been a question as to whether or not we are alone in the universe, and lately, more people are asking that question. This is partially due to a recent movie released by Steven Spielberg titled “Disclosure Day.” The movie is science fiction, and is about a cybersecurity expert who stumbled upon a government cover-up about alien life. He teams up with a meteorologist who ends up developing unusual abilities, and he leads a strange chase to reveal the truth to the world.
