Walter has introduced four new Walter Lock (WL) geometries (FM2, MN2, RM4 and RP4) for the W1011 and W1211 copy turning systems. The stable WL interface enables high dimensional accuracy. Compared to standard V- or D-shaped ISO inserts, the inserts with a WL positive-engagement geometry feature 50% higher repeatability and lower tool costs thanks to having three cutting edges.
