This Friday morning kicks off to a muggy start with temperatures in the upper 70s - low 80s. Mostly sunny skies will be the main weather conditions throughout the morning and early afternoon. Hazy conditions will persist as Saharan dust lingers. Afternoon highs could very well match or even break the record again as highs are forecasted to be near 96°F. Another heat advisory has been issued from 11am to 7pm because daytime heat indices are expected to be between 108°F-112°F. Today's rain chances could see some potentially strong to severe storms drift out west to coastal counties. Some of the scattered thunderstorms could bring gusty winds of up to 58 mph.
