Projections for the first day of the school year had the school’s total enrollment at 1,746, just four students below its enrollment cap of 1,750. Another 33 students were on a waitlist to attend.

The district board voted 3-1 to approve the continuation of its current practice of allowing ESA students to participate in school sports, though the issue is expected to be brought back to the board in the spring.
