Clay Burt, 63, and Phillip Araujo, 47, both Texas natives, tragically passed away on Wednesday due to injuries they sustained in the Pecos train derailment.

On Sunday, the NTSB sent NewsWest 9 an updated news release on their initial report of the Dec. 18 Pecos train derailment. A few corrections were made.

HOWARD COUNTY, Texas — A natural gas compressor explosion was reported Wednesday morning in Howard County, according to the Howard County Volunteer Fire Department (HCVFD) through a Facebook post.

This fatal shooting took place late Tuesday night in the 5000 block of Pleasant Drive.

The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident that started at a Walgreens in the 200 block of Andrews Highway around 9 p.m.
