Remco Evenepoel has committed his future to Soudal-Quickstep for the 2025 season.

Patrick Lefevere has said there was plenty of “noise” surrounding the future of Remco Evenepoel, but a decision on his future never had to be made by Soudal Quick-Step as an offer was not made for the Belgian.

A video emerged online on Monday appearing to show Coote making disparaging remarks about former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The PGMOL issued a statement saying it had suspended referee Coote pending a full investigation into the incident.

Manchester United have confirmed the departure of Ruud van Nistelrooy following his spell as interim coach. Van Nistelrooy replaced Erik ten Hag, but the appointment of Ruben Amorim has resulted in the Dutchman parting ways with the Old Trafford club. Amorim flew into Manchester from Portugal on Monday. He will take charge of his first game after the international break.
