In the past, PFL consisted of only in-season fights. They were dark for much of the year. But now that they have bought out Bellator and started many other divisions outside of the global season, there's room for events outside the season format. PFL hosted two super fight series cards this year and there's room for at least one more before the 2025 season begins.
