After significant public comments from Erie residents, the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission unanimously decided to indefinitely pause progress on the Draco Pad project proposed by Denver-based Extraction Oil & Gas.

Acevedo said the Spanish-speaking community deserves more than just translated city documents and news releases. The Spanish-language branded page will highlight Latino culture, local Latino businesses and business owners and will share crucial information in Spanish. From sharing information about the Mexican rosca de reyes, the Three Kings Day tradition of baking traditional sweet bread, to explaining how residents can pay city water bills, Acevedo hopes this information will help the community.

• 1:58 a.m. Police responded to the 800 block of Lashley Street for a single-vehicle injury crash. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

LONGMONT Tuesday • 1:31 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Main Street. The driver, a man, was found to be under the influence and was subsequently arrested.

Boulder Bridge House, a nonprofit organization based in Boulder that provides a variety of programs, resources and services for people experiencing homelessness, partnered with the First Congregational Church to host the third annual Christmas meal.
