The exhibit, showcasing the work of 11th and 12th graders from Boyne City, Boyne Concord Academy, Charlevoix and East Jordan high schools, runs from Jan. 24 to Feb. 22.

NORTHWEST MICHIGAN — The Health Department of Northwest Michigan is reporting an increase in respiratory illnesses across Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet and Otsego counties this winter.

“We wanted to create a venue that could host anything from a business meeting to an elegant wedding or a community event. The ballroom and chapel provide two distinct spaces that are both functional and beautiful,” said Smith. “The chapel retains its original stained-glass windows and pulpit, giving it a sense of history and character that makes it perfect for ceremonies, concerts or even lectures.”

The new center will feature seven treatment rooms and a procedure room, offering care for conditions such as viral illnesses, minor lacerations and orthopedic injuries like bone fractures that do not require surgery. X-ray imaging will also be available on-site, and the primary care clinic located within the same building will continue its services to patients. The urgent care will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
