CENTRAL ILLINOIS ( 25News Now ) - High pressure will build today, bringing quiet weather back to Central Illinois for the end of the work week. Additional storms are possible late Saturday into Saturday night before even cooler air settles into the region for a few days.

CENTRAL ( 25News Now ) - If you enjoyed Sunday’s forecast, much of the same can be expected for the start of our work week. All eyes will be on Wednesday though as another elevated risk for severe weather returns to Illinois.

PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Wednesday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the elevated risk for severe weather capable of all hazards. While Wednesday is the main focus in the forecast, an isolated severe weather threat also exists for our Tuesday.
