The FHSAA has released the playoff brackets for the 2024-25 postseason. Three local teams — Mosley, Arnold and Bay — have qualified for the playoffs and have received seeding and locations for the first round.

Last Friday was the conclusion of the regular season and the FHSAA unveiled the state playoff bracket, which sparked mixed reactions. The bracket excluded teams that were disqualified due to violations and forfeits, and some of the first-round matchups require egregious travel — such as Chipley, which faces a seven-hour journey to play against Pahokee.However, close to home, we had three teams qualify for the state playoffs with Mosley and Bay winning their respective district championships and Arnold finishing with a 7-3 record and placing second in Class 4A District 2.
