The Young and the Restless let down fans in many lackluster storylines. There are five worst Y&R plots to consider from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) desperation to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) spiraling and Kyle Abbott's (Michael Mealor) entitled pouting. Many plots left viewers let down and we're certainly hoping for better in 2025.

General Hospital offered some wildly unpopular storylines including those with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) — and most of all, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Fans have been on fire and raging over that last one with Sam. They started a petition, rented a billboard and even sent a signage truck by the studio to voice their outrage.

The Bold and the Beautiful is on fire lately but their 2024 storylines often left fans angry or disappointed. From Taylor Hayes' (Rebecca Budig) recast, Luna Nozawa's (Lisa Yamada) blatant retcons, to the contentious plot surrounding broken heart syndrome. These plots left viewers frustrated with Brad Bell, the head writer and showrunner of the CBS soap opera.

Days of Our Lives gave us many bad plots in 2024 including those with Connie Viniski (Julie Dove) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) among many others. DOOL fans shared frustrations with subpar storylines and now, we're going to show you the five worst on Days and see if you agree.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) spying on Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is a huge red flag. She went from wanting Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to apparently, wanting his son. And when Luna wants something, she'll stop at nothing – not even murder – to get it!

General Hospital spoilers saw Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) penthouse blown up and it looks like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is the bomber who put Michael Corinthos ‘ (Chad Duell) life at risk. The new villain in Port Charles is totally to blame. Sidwell just bought Wyndemere and has a violent past.

The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faces accusations when word spreads that Sharon Newman ‘s (Sharon Case) missing. Even those closest to Phyllis suspect her of taking vigilante justice. For months, Red ranted all over Genoa City about Sharon killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). And Phyllis said she'd make Sharon pay if the police did not.
