The 2024-25 high school basketball season is officially underway as all three Putnam County programs began full organized team practices Monday. Pictured are head coaches Matt Hill (Cookeville boys), Jamie Gillies (Cookeville girls), Bobby McWilliams (Upperman boys), Dana McWilliams (Upperman girls), Will Putman (Monterey boys) and Randal Phillips (Monterey girls) helping with practice drills at their respective schools Monday. All six teams are set to begin regular-season competition November 19.
