Jurors have heard nearly two months of testimony in the case of Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey, who is accused of bribery and corruption.

Robert Menendez is the first senator indicted under the foreign-agent statute. He is accused of aiding the Egyptian government in exchange for gifts.

Senator Robert Menendez is charged with 16 separate crimes, including bribery, obstructing justice and acting as an agent of a foreign government.
