The Coast Village Improvement District was created to enhance the district's beautification, safety, marketing, and maintenance needs, while working with the City of Santa Barbara and other stakeholders towards their mission. Over the past year, the CVA has been working diligently toward these goals. This year, the CVA is moving forward with building new infrastructure for businesses, traffic, safety, and beautification of the physical road through a road paving, and commercial loading zone project.

The City of Santa Barbara and the Coast Village Association are pleased to announce the successful completion of the first phase of the road upgrade project, a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to enhancing the district's infrastructure, safety, and overall appeal. Between March 25 and May 17 of this year, residents and businesses demonstrated remarkable patience and cooperation while essential upgrades were made to the curbs, gutters, and loading zones on Coast Village Road.

During Coast Village Week, the Heart of Our Community was visible in every way! The week-long celebration was filled with energy, joy, and a strong sense of togetherness, reflecting the vibrant spirit that defines Coast Village Road.
