As we're closing a warm and very dry October, the warmth is going to hang around, but unfortunately the best rain chances will be when we want it the least.
Most of us got what we needed, a good soaking rain with 1 to 2 inches around almost all the area. That rain ends quickly tonight and it's the last rain until next week.

The clouds will hold tough with just that lingering shower chance early but then most of the day is dry and chilly with a pretty stubborn cloud cover.
