We're entering the final weekend of 2025, and it's going to be a warm one. After some early fog Saturday, we'll see some Sun with a slightly cooler day. We'll still be about 15 degrees above normal as we top out near 60.
After record warmth Thursday afternoon, a strong cold front is on the way Thursday night and into Friday. Most of the night will continue with the pre-summer warmth, but temperatures will fall behind the cold front as it begins to move through the area late tonight.
We go from record warmth to a FREEZE WARNING for Saturday morning. Temperatures plunged behind a cold front Friday and as more cold air pours in Friday night it will lead to a very cold morning with lows in the upper 20s to around 30. With the very warm March we've enjoyed, plants may be ahead of schedule, so covering the more delicate ones or bringing them in may be prudent. Tuesday is the last day of March, and the temperatures will be acting more like May, even as we start April. We'll be enjoying high temperatures that will be soaring to the 80 degree range for most of this week.
