In an email, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) said crews responded to a report of a roof fire in the 6100 block of Eagle Drive just after 9 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found flames showing from the roof of a three-storey, six-unit townhouse complex. Firefighters on the scene were able to contain the blaze to two units, leaving the building’s remaining four units undamaged.
