High pressure is moving in from the northwest this morning — sending in clear skies, northerly winds and much cooler air. Overnight lows have tumbled into the 50s.

After a beautiful Wednesday, more sunshine is on the way today. A lake breeze will keep highs in the mid- to upper 70s lakeside. Highs rise into the 80s farther inland.

High pressure is beginning to move eastward. South winds will bring warmer air over the next several days. Dew points will also be on the rise, heading into the 60s and near 70.

It might be Wednesday, but it's the peak day of the week! Sunshine and lower humidity are around for the afternoon. High temperatures climb into the lower and mid-80s today.

Seasonable July weather is back again today. This time, southerly winds will boost temperatures well into the 80s.

Storm Team 4 is monitoring an area of low pressure moving toward Wisconsin this weekend. Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder will be possible from late Friday through early Saturday afternoon.

Southeast Wisconsin capped off July with a solid 2-4 inches of rainfall spread over a 48-hour period. Sunshine is back again today as highs climb into the upper 70s.
