MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Slowly warming up as we get into the holiday weekend. 50s on Thursday become 60s for Friday and Saturday. But near 80 for Memorial Day itself on Monday. The rain chances won't be zero,

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Sometimes Mother Nature follows the script. Memorial Day kicks off the unofficial start of summer. Right on cue. We could see highs in the low to mid 80s by then (and Tuesday too)! But in the meantime, expect one more cool day on Saturday with highs either side of 60. Look for a few scattered showers late Saturday into early Sunday. Otherwise, the weather should be quiet for most of the holiday weekend and much of next week. A cool front will eventually lower the highs back to the 70s by midweek. But it's still above average. Make sure to wear sunscreen even when days are cloudier. The sun angle is very strong.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Warmer weather eventually coming for the second half of the holiday weekend. But in the meantime, perhaps grab a jacket and enjoy some of the happenings on Saturday to start the long weekend.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--So the average high now is at 70 degrees. We'll get there on Sunday and then some. But for Monday and Tuesday, expect highs in the low to mid 80s. The only real chance for rain this week will be early Sunday. But expect a lot of dry time on Sunday and the rest of the holiday weekend. Lows at night will be in the 50s. Keep in mind we've only gotten less than two tenths of an inch of rain for the month. This will probably be the driest May on record. Of course this follows the wettest April on record with more than nine and a half inches of rain!! Incredible...

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Lots of 60s and quiet weather. The two best ways to describe our last weekend in May. I would stay off Lake Michigan on Saturday because of higher wind and waves. Also, look for the Blue Moon going into Saturday night. This means it's the second full moon of the month. Meantime, our rainfall deficit continues to grow. It's almost three inches for the month. Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait for precipitation until the end of this coming week. We could see rain and storms into Friday. Temperatures will modify after this weekend. We go from the 60s Saturday and Sunday to the 80s by Thursday.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Beautiful weather to go with all the outdoor events this weekend, including a bunch of plant sales. Also, don't forget about Okauchee Lions Days either.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--I guess it's fitting if April was so wet, May would be the opposite. After record rainfall in April, we didn't even get a half an inch in May. But the pattern looks to change, especially for the end of the week and into the first weekend of June. It looks much warmer and stormier with highs then into the 80s. Some of us could be well in the 80s. In the meantime, plan on 60s and 70s for highs for the first part of the coming week. The weather should be fairly quiet too through much of Thursday as well.
