For the third straight season, Magna Vista will host its football playoff opener this Friday. The Warriors, the No. 2 seed in Region 3D, will face No. 7 Christiansburg, a team they also hosted in the playoffs last fall.

With a victory last Friday in the regular season finale, Patrick County made its way into the Region 2C football playoffs for the second straight season and third time in four years.

A year after going 0-10, Martinsville turned it around this fall and is in the Region 2C football playoffs for the third time in the last four seasons.
