DAVIDSON COUNTY — Oak Grove’s girls and Ledford’s boys advanced to the championship games of their respective holiday basketball tournaments last week, but each fell short.
Oak Grove's boys and girls swim teams each won championships in the annual Davidson County Swim Meet held Wednesday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. It's the third consecutive county championship for the boys team while the girls dethroned defending champ North Davidson.
