Junior Isaiah Anguiano threw his first career no-hitter on Tuesday in a 2-1 Pampa loss against Dumas. He struck out six batters in the game. His district ERA is 1.909 with 10 strikeouts. On Friday night, the Pampa Harvesters (0-1, 2-4) will return home this week to face the West Plains Wolves (1-0, 3-3) at Zach Thomas Stadium. West Plains defeated Canyon 42-28 in their first district game. They also have wins over El Paso Horizon and Lubbock Estacado. The three losses have come to very good ball clubs in Seminole, Bushland, and Liberty Christian.
The Lady Harvesters took the road to a tournament in the Dallas-Fort Worth area over the weekend. There were several 5A and 6A teams involved in the tournament, so the Lady Harvesters knew they had their work cut-out for them.
The Pampa Lady Harvesters (5-9, 0-1) opened District play on Tuesday when they hosted the Canyon Lady Eagles at McNeely Fieldhouse.
CANYON - The Pampa Lady Harvesters (5-10, 0-2) fell to the West Plains Lady Wolves 64-41 on Friday as they continued District play.
