Wale and Philly sneaker store Villa first collaboration was a huge success. Their idea of creating a 4 th of July silhouette with the Asics Gel Lyte III surprised the sneaker world and became a huge fan favorite. This winter Wale and Villa are going for round with a creative colorway on the classic Timberland 6-inch boot. Sportswear and lifestyle brand adidas Originals releases their newest addition to its trainer line-up, the Tubular Runner. Created by Nic Galway, VP of global design,s who wanted a “progressive design update to an archive style that was ahead of its time.” The Tubular introduces a bold new silhouette giving the sneaker a futuristic look. Inspired by inner tire tubes featuring dual-density EVA for unbeatable comfort, the Tubular supports the wearer with a firm stance without sacrificing aesthetic. The sock-fit neoprene upper continues the contemporary street look. Adidas will be releasing four color ways (navy, gray, black & burgundy), that will surely compliment any form of style.

Sketched in 1986 by the “legendary” Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Max Zero was rejected for production by Nike for being too futuristic. Well it is now 2015 and the perfect time for Nike to pull the sketches from the vault and create the Air Max Zero.

Subscribe Nike has been home to many athletes but only few have had their own signature shoe and Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers has joined the list. Subscribe Converse is one of the oldest and most respected footwear lines of all time. They hold one of the greatest shoes in history in the Chuck Taylor All Star. Chuck Taylor’s first debuted in 1917 designed for basketball and was adopted as the NBA shoe but over time it become national icon that swept the nation. Kids from 40s through the 70s grew up where if you didn’t have a pair of chucks then you weren’t the coolest kid on the block. The classic shoe was one of the main attributes in the iconic grease look in the movie Grease and also seen on the feet of Marty McFly in Back To The Future. Even today, Chuck Taylor’s can be seen almost everywhere and for the first time in 98 years they will be given a sequel. Since Nike bought Converse in 2003 they left the Chuck Taylor untouched, but now they will be giving the All Star new material that makes the shoe more comfortable and using the same technology they used for many of their basketball performance shoes. The only flaw of the classic was comfort and Nike has fixed this problem by inserting a Lunarlon sock liner. Lunarlon has been used on many of Nike’s basketball shoes like the new Nike Hyperdunk 2015 and the Nike Air Max 1. This will be first time ever the Chuck Taylor All Star has been changed or altered. The classic All Star will be sold in small quantities for the price tag of 70$ and comes in the mid-top and the low featuring black, blue, red, and white. Subscribe Sneaker fans have always found love for the Nike SBs as they have become one of the biggest staples in the sneaker community. On November 29, 2014 Nike gifted its fans with another amazing release the Nike SB “Northern Lights.” This color way is stellar and almost turns everyone’s head in a 360 motion. The shoe features a pink inner with an upper in black and Anthracite Grey. The bottom is lit in a crystal mint that glows in the dark. Everyone is quick to claim this as a “Yeezy” color way, but this SB stands on its own, Sorry Kanye. In the last decade no artist has been more influential than Kanye West. For years his music has inspired people, but now he has become a fashion icon. Big time brands like Adidas, Nike, and Under Armor love to release new shoes and amazing colorways during this month in celebration of All Star weekend and Black History Month. One of the shoes releasing in honor of black history month is the classic Nike Air Max 1. The Air Max 1 first broke the scene in 1987 and still is one of most popular sneakers today.
