Monday is starting off mostly cloudy, warm, and breezy. Temperatures started this morning in the 60s and low 70s. We will see partly to mostly cloudy skies through the day with afternoon temperatures climbing to around 80 degrees. This is close to the record of 81 in Tupelo. We will continue to see windy weather through the day with gusts around 25-30mph.

We will see a cold front move into our area today. This will gradually bring some chances for some showers and thunderstorms in our weather forecast. The better chances for showers and thunderstorms will be found the farther north and west portions of our area. We will gradually see our chances for some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms linger in our weather forecast for the rest of the work week due to the aforementioned cold front lingering in our area.

Afternoon temperatures will be well above average as well. we climb to the upper 70s if not lower 80s. While seeing a couple of isolated showers is not impossible, most of us should probably be dry.

Our Veteran's Day will be filled with much better and much drier weather. High pressure will settle in behind and bring us more sunshine. Temperatures will still be rising into the mid 70s. This will be a perfect forecast for any Veteran's Day events.
