Dangerously hot temperatures have entered the forecast. A heat advisory has been placed into our area until 6AM Wednesday.

Overnight, skies will stay mostly clear with temperatures falling into the low to mid 70s, making for a warm and quiet summer night.

While most of the weekend will be dry with plenty of sunshine, a stray afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out.

A Heat Advisory has been placed in our area until 9PM Tuesday with expected heat indices to reach 110-115 degrees. Extreme Heat Warnings are impacting Grenada County and the Delta. Strong to severe thunderstorms are also anticipated Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
