During a traffic stop on June 24, a driver was found to have an active warrant and was arrested. A passenger was under the influence and had weapon; he was arrested. Both were transported to the Lorain County Jail.

On July 9, a caller reported a driver backed into her car, made an obscene gesture then drove off.

On June 28 around 5:45 am, officers responded near Landings Way for a report of a vehicle that struck a telephone pole. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and cited for drunk driving.

On July 19, a caller reported two women fighting, and one was in a chokehold. One person was arrested and charged with assault and 911 interference and was transported to Strongsville Jail.

A female called 911 on July 17 to report a man with a machete was ringing her doorbell. The suspect left the scene prior to officers' arrival. He was identified by the caller's boyfriend and later arrested in North Olmsted on an aggravated menacing warrant.

Three people were arrested on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing official business after a disturbance on July 8.

A 36-year-old Cleveland resident wanted on a warrant was charged with drug possession, carrying weapons, OVI suspension, drug paraphernalia, open container and escape for not returning to police custody after being discharged from the hospital.

On July 18, were dispatched to the area of Sunset Park for a fireworks complaint. Officers discovered a drunk man discharging fireworks at the park. He was cited for disorderly conduct and violation of the fireworks ordinance.

On July 24, a motorcyclist hit a vehicle in the intersection of Bagley and Columbia roads. He appeared confused but was not injured.

On July 20, police received a 911 call reporting a missing 6-year-old child. The child’s parent said that while they were on a walk, her daughter, who was riding a bicycle, traveled ahead of her. The parent stated that a vehicle pulled into a driveway, temporarily blocking her view and she lost sight of her. Several minutes later, the child was located safe and unharmed in the area of Saddler/Lake Road.
