On May 19 around 2:20 am, officers were dispatched for a report of a stolen vehicle and active pursuit. The driver of the vehicle was located, arrested and taken to Lorain County Jail.

On May 21, a caller reported construction workers destroyed her tree and when she spoke to them, they cussed her out. A member of the condo board also called to report the woman was recording the workers. A few hours later, one of the workers reported the woman was belligerent and threw water on him.

A motorist called to report a driver operating recklessly on May 25. The witness observed the vehicle crash into multiple mailboxes and veered off the roadway multiple times.

On May 18 at 6:10 am, Bay High maintenance reported a man had attempted to start a fire on the soccer field and then left northbound toward Longbeach.

A Norfolk Southern worker reported a homeowner approached them with a knife while they were installing cables.

A man who had previously been banned from Sweetbriar Golf Club was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.

On May 23, an Amazon driver reported a resident pointed a gun at him while he was trying to deliver a package. The suspect was charged with aggravated menacing.

On May 30, police responded to a report of a car in a ditch. The driver, who fled the scene before police arrived, was located and cited for failure to control and hit-skip.

On June 6, a driver was travelling northbound, crossed the center line and went off the west side of the road. The vehicle continued northbound, hit a ditch and drive across two front lawns before striking a concrete sewer cover and two parked cars.

A 19-year-old Avon Lake resident was charged with drunk driving, underage possession and speeding. Two juvenile passengers were cited for underage possession.
