Vice President J.D. Vance said the way to stop socialism is not by “throwing slogans at people about the free market,” but rather “by making people’s lives better. And that’s what we’re trying to do every single day.” All due respect to Vance — but “making people’s lives better” is kind of a slogan in itself.

Aug. 15 is the fifth anniversary of Taliban terrorists taking control of Afghanistan after then-President Biden’s botched U.S. withdrawal. And the tears of women who lost everything overnight when Team Taliban took over are still flowing.

The Democrat Party, since the presidential days of Bill Clinton, has been moving down a path toward communism. And now the peril is here.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez has been making social media waves for uploading videos of her egg-freezing “journey” — with italics on the word “journey” because it’s become a favorite catch-phrase of the youth set who feel the need to share their growth patterns with anyone who will listen.

Just as Democrats need to stop accusing all police of racist behaviors whenever a Black man is arrested or apprehended, Republicans need to stop their knee-jerk insistence that, whatever the occasion, police can do no wrong.

America isn’t simply a plot of land — it’s a spirit of freedom and individualism. And reminding Americans of that core concept is key to keeping communism at bay.

President Trump has been a tremendous asset in terms of keeping the country from going down a path of leftist lunacy and socialist darkness. But Democrats are still infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It’s always entertaining to watch the socialists who are running as Democrats but who are really Marxists and communists as they scream in the streets about equity and racism and oink, oink, capitalists. On the street-screaming front, Angie Nixon already has her certificate of completion.

Katie Wilson rode a socialist wave of promises to provide free stuff all the way to the Seattle mayoral office in 2025 — and now, a year later, she’s fending off a recall effort. Yay; go Team America.

Just when you thought the Democrat Party couldn’t spiral down more. Now come the Marxists. Now come the Leninists. Now come the Maoists. And like that, socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become too moderate.
