I often write about the importance of mentoring new hunters to our cherished outdoor lifestyle. It is a critical step and can often be a hurdle or a barrier to entry for new hunters. Sure, there are books and plenty of online resources. However, having a real-life human showing you the ropes can be all it takes towards a lifelong passion for all things outdoors and being an active participant in our wildlife conservation model. In fact, chances are, having someone take us hunting is how we all got our start.
