Baseload for Wednesday was last seen at EUR 96.25/MWh on the EEX exchange, compared with a settlement of EUR 67.84/MWh for Tuesday delivery.

“Renewable energies accounted for more than half of electricity consumption in every month of this year, ranging between 53 and 59%,” the lobby group said, citing preliminary calculations made together with the German thinktank ZSW.
